Pressure Sensitive Vinyl (PSV) or Self-Adhesive Vinyl Products

Product Information

• Print Resolution: Circle Graphics prints vinyl flex billboards at 360 dpi in 4-color process.
• Inks: Our inks are made with automotive-grade pigments designed to resist fading for 2 years.
• Warranty: Guaranteed for one (1) years against product defect and/or excessive fading in excess of 15%. Vinyls with UV clear coat (which must be requested at the time of the order and which has an additional cost) are guaranteed for two (2) years against fading in excess of 15%.
• We offer two types of PSV material as follows:

PSV - Permanent: Our Flexcon FLEXmark Permanent Billboard is a 4.0 mil flexible bright white opaque vinyl, coated with an aggressive, high-performance, high-tack, permanent pressure-sensitive acrylic adhesive, and backed with a polycoated, moisture-stable lay flat release liner backside printed with the FLEXmark Billboard logo.


• 4.0 mil flexible bright white opaque vinyl.
• Provides excellent cover-up and bright whiteness to match the end caps and scrim vinyl on tri-vision panel billboards.
• Excellent tear and abrasion-resistance.
• Aggressive, high-performance, high-tack acrylic adhesive provides a permanent bond to a variety of surfaces; prevents edge lift from scrim vinyl and billboard surfaces.
• Excellent, moisture-stable lay flat release liner.

PSV - Removable: Our Flexcon BUSmark Temporary Self-Adhesive vinyl is a 3.4 mil flexible white opaque vinyl that offers high opacity for covering previous graphics. Film provides good resistance to scuffing, tearing and abrasion.


• Removable pressure-sensitive acrylic adhesive bonds well to painted metal and painted plastic.
• Adhesive is cleanly removable for up to one year from most smooth OEM surfaces. This product will not damage paint on sound OEM or repainted bus surfaces.
• Up to three layers may be applied provided the original BUSmark signage has been applied for six months or less.
• Excellent stay flat release liner properties for printing and converting.

Art Requirements

• Our preferred file format is a flattened Photoshop .tif file using LZW compression. Please always name files of this type using the 3 character extension ".tif" at the end of your file name (even if you are on a Mac).
• If you build your file using the recommended format there will be no need to use additional compression software such as WinZip or Stuffit when uploading your files. Also, when naming your file please name the file something specific to the advertiser and design or name it with your job number to help us match your artwork to your job.
• Circle Graphics supports the latest versions of all the software listed below for both Macintosh and Windows:
• Major drawing applications (i.e., Adobe Illustrator, Corel Draw, Macromedia Freehand).
• Major page layout applications (i.e., QuarkXPress, Adobe Pagemaker and Adobe Indesign).

NOTE: We do not accept files built in MS Word or Powerpoint or any other word processing or publishing program for that matter.

NOTE: When using these software packages to create files please follow the same basic information herein, but keep in mind that you will need to compress the files into one archive using Stuffit for Macintosh users and WinZip for Windows users. This helps maintain the file's integrity and prevents fonts from getting corrupted during upload.

• Files should be created to a manageable scale. We recommend scaling to a width of 12" x proportional height and providing as much resolution as possible. We realize that due to upload constraints you may want to downsample your file, however, please do not downsample to a resolution lower than 350 ppi.
• When building files please use US Web Coated (SWOP v2) color profile for your color builds. If assigning PMS builds please use the Pantone Solid to Process library of colors as all jobs will be printed in 4-color process.

Production Standards

For PSV products we will not apply any finish to the product UNLESS the PSV is a full-size "Tri-vision" board (i.e. 10'6"x36' or 14'x48' ). In those cases we will add one inch of bleed to the bottom of the board to allow for ease of installation.

Our PSV product may be paneled depending on its size. If paneling is required the product will be created with 1" overlaps that have square registration marks to use for alignment purposes. Please install the PSV so that the registration mark on each panel is underneath and aligned with the registration mark on the panel that overlaps it.

Product Labeling/Packaging

• PSV products are rolled for shipment.
• On each box there are three labels as set forth below:
• Shipping Label: details of the shipment provided by our shipping company.
• Packing Slip: indicating the job number, the product type and quantity ordered and the quantity contained in the box.
• Picture Label: a label with a black and white image of the board contained inside.
